Surface Treatment of Tuohai Long Link Chain
Hot-dip galvanizing is mainly used for carbon steel or alloy steel long link chains. This treatment forms a thick (50 to 150-micron) zinc layer on the chain surface, providing strong corrosion resistance. It extends the chain’s lifespan and reduces maintenance and replacement costs, making it ideal for outdoor, humid, or high-corrosion environments like construction sites, outdoor playgrounds, docks, and marine operations.
Electro-galvanizing is generally used for carbon steel or alloy steel long link chains. The zinc layer is thinner (5 to 25 microns) and more cost-effective, with a smooth, shiny surface and medium rust resistance, primarily used for indoor equipment or light industrial applications, and sometimes for decorative purposes.
Powder coating is suitable for all materials of long link chains, offering a hard, durable coating with excellent wear resistance and corrosion protection.
