Features of Tuohai Brass Compression Springs

Excellent Conductivity
Tuohai’s brass compression spring is made of high-quality brass materials, including H62 brass with 60%~63% copper or H68 brass with 68% copper, etc.
Compared with the compression springs made of other materials, such as stainless steel, music wire, etc., the brass compression springs have up to 40% electrical conductivity and are used in some electrical devices, such as relay contact springs and battery springs in toys.

Excellent Corrosion Resistance
After testing, Tuohai’s brass compression spring can remain oxidation-free for 72 hours in 5% NaCl salt spray test, and the corrosion depth is only 0.05mm after 480 hours, which has high corrosion resistance.
In addition, tuohai can also provide brass compression spring made of C44300, which can increase corrosion resistance by 3 times.
Non-Magnetic
The magnetic permeability of our brass compression spring is close to 1, which is more excellent than SS compression spring, and it has high anti-magnetic interference ability.
Tests revealed that our brass compression spring does not show any hysteresis loss under magnetic field strength ≤1 T, and it can maintain stable performance under extreme magnetic field, our brass compression spring does not show any hysteresis loss, and still maintains stable performance under extreme magnetic field.

Applications of Tuohai Brass Compression Springs

Brass compression springs have excellent electrical conductivity and can be used as contact springs in some non-high voltage appliances, such as battery compartments, relays, etc. They not only provide mechanical support, but also provide excellent electrical conductivity.

Brass compression springs have excellent corrosion resistance in fresh water or humid environments, and can be used in fresh water treatment equipment, marine electronics or instrumentation in non-high salt environments.

Brass compression springs are non-magnetic and are suitable for use in MRI equipment, precision sensors and compression springs to avoid magnetic interference.

Brass compression springs can be used in the push buttons of toys, small locks and other light mechanical structures, combining corrosion resistance and moderate elasticity.

Brass compress springs have a special appearance and color and are often used in furniture and musical instruments, such as support springs for lamps and light fixtures, or key springs for wind instruments, to enhance aesthetics and provide excellent corrosion resistance.
